This is the make-or-break moment. If your first line or visual doesn’t stop the scroll, it’s game over.
Why it matters:
Most people are scrolling on autopilot. You have 2–3 seconds to interrupt that pattern.
Your job? Create a pattern interrupt — something that makes them pause, raise an eyebrow, or go “ooh, what’s this?”
Examples of solid hooks:

Example:
Instead of “Consistency is key,” try this:“I post 3x a week — here’s how I plan it in 5 mins using Canva + a sticky note.”
Secret 4: Engage Like a Human (Not a Hovering Sales Bot)
You’re not on social media to lecture from a podium. You’re there to connect.
Don’t:
